If you're on the hunt for a replacement lever buckle, your search ends here.

You don't need to purchase a new belt if the buckle on your current Lever Belt has become stiff or broken. Instead, simply replace the lever mechanism. The package includes two black countersunk screws and a backing plate, making it easy to switch out.

This replacement lever is compatible with all of our lever belts and features a Matte Black finish.

Key Features

  • Heavy-duty lever closure system
  • White Vantage logo
  • Easy to tighten with the push of the lever

Please note: Belt buckles should be handled with care and not dropped on hard surfaces, as impact damage is not covered. This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase.

Cosmetic wear that results from normal use is not considered a defect.
Damage caused by misuse, including dropping the buckle, dents, cracks, or impact marks, is not covered under warranty.

However, this disclaimer does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
If the lever, pin, or buckle fails under normal use due to a manufacturing fault, the item will be replaced or refunded in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Lever Belt Buckle Installation Instructions

Tip: Roll the belt up first to curve it. This makes the buckle easier to install and helps the plate sit flush.

Before you start

  • Use a screwdriver that fully fits the screw head. A poor-fit driver slips, damaging the screws and plate.
  • Check the back plate is the right way round and sitting flat before threading.

Installation

  1. Position the lever and back plate over your chosen holes in the belt.
  2. Insert both screws and turn by hand until they just catch the threads. Don't tighten either fully yet.
  3. Alternate between screws, tightening each only ¼ to ½ a turn at a time. Never fully tighten one before the other.
  4. Watch the back plate as you go. It should stay flat against the belt. If the centre starts to bow, flex, or lift at the edges, stop immediately.
  5. Tighten only until:
    - The lever can't move or rotate on the belt
    - The back plate is firmly seated against the belt
    - There's no noticeable play in the assembly

  6. Stop as soon as it's firmly seated.
The screws only clamp the lever to the belt. They don't carry the lifting load.

      Important

      • The plate should be snug, not crushed.
      • Stop the moment movement stops. Over-tightening past this point gives no benefit and is the number one cause of cracked plates (usually around the screw holes).
      • If a screw suddenly turns easier, stop. That can mean the thread or plate is starting to fail.
      • Re-check after first use. Screws can bed in slightly, so a small nip-up after a session or two is normal. Over-cranking on day one is not.

      The rule

Tighten until the hardware stops moving, then stop. The belt does the work, not extreme screw tension.
